Research Use Only

All products sold by PeptideX are intended strictly for laboratory and research use only. They are not medicines, supplements, or therapeutic goods and are not intended for human or animal consumption.

01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website and placing an order with PeptideX, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not access the website or purchase any products.

1.1Age & Capacity

By entering this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. PeptideX does not knowingly accept orders from, or supply products to, persons under 18. PeptideX may cancel any order, refund any payment, and restrict any account where age cannot be reasonably verified or has been misrepresented.

02

Research Use Restrictions

All products supplied by PeptideX are sold exclusively for laboratory research and analytical purposes.

By purchasing from PeptideX, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Products are not for human or animal consumption
  • Products are not medicines, supplements, or therapeutic goods
  • Purchases are restricted to qualified researchers ordering for in vitro or laboratory research
  • Products will be used solely for legitimate research purposes
  • You are qualified to handle and use research materials responsibly
  • Every account must complete a signed researcher declaration before an order can be placed
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the handling and use of these products
03

Acceptable Use

By accessing the PeptideX website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation
  • Use automated tools — including scrapers, crawlers, bots, or harvesters — to access, copy, index, or collect content from the website except as expressly permitted
  • Copy, reproduce, republish, mirror, or distribute any part of the website or its content without prior written consent
  • Impersonate any person, business, or affiliation, or provide false or misleading information at registration or checkout
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the operation, security, or integrity of the website or any underlying infrastructure

PeptideX may restrict or terminate access to any visitor, account, or IP range where these obligations are breached.

04

Product Information

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions and specifications are accurate, PeptideX does not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Products are supplied strictly for research purposes and should be independently verified for suitability within your specific application.

Certificates of Analysis. Each batch is independently tested (including HPLC where applicable) and a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is made available via our Lab Results page. Certificates are provided in the form published for each batch: where the testing laboratory supports it, the Certificate for that batch carries a public verification key and task number so the result can be confirmed directly with the laboratory; where client or manufacturer identifiers or internal reference numbers are redacted, this is to prevent our reports being copied, reused, or misattributed by third parties, and does not alter the purity, identity, or batch data shown. The Certificate published for your batch, in the form provided, is the certificate supplied with your order, and PeptideX does not issue additional or de-redacted copies. Where a product is considered inconsistent with its published analysis, PeptideX will review the matter upon provision of your own independent laboratory Certificate of Analysis (laboratory name, assay method, and measured values) together with a photograph of the vial tested, so a like-for-like comparison can be made. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

05

Orders & Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. Prices may be updated at any time without prior notice. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. PeptideX reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion. A tax invoice is issued for each paid order.

06

Preorders & Backorders

Some products may be offered for preorder when current sale stock has sold out but the next batch is physically on hand and undergoing laboratory verification before release. Preorder availability is indicated on the relevant product page and reflects stock that is in our possession at the time of sale, not stock that has yet to be sourced or manufactured.

Preorder items are paid for in full at checkout in the same way as any other order. The order is then held in Awaiting Stock until the batch clears its lab verification and is released for dispatch, at which point it joins the normal dispatch queue.

Indicative lead times are shown on the product page where known. Orders may remain in Awaiting Stock for the time required to complete laboratory verification of the relevant batch. If the awaiting batch fails its verification and cannot be released for sale, PeptideX will contact the customer and issue a refund or store credit, at the customer's choice, equal to the value of the affected items.

A customer may request cancellation of a preorder at any time before the order enters Awaiting Shipping by contacting support. The value of the cancelled item(s) is returned as a refund or store credit, at the customer's choice.

07

Account Restrictions

PeptideX reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or block any customer account or email address at its sole discretion. This may occur for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Suspected fraudulent activity or chargebacks
  • Repeated non-payment or failure to complete orders
  • Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour towards staff
  • Evidence of misuse of products in breach of research-use terms
  • Providing false or misleading information

ImportantRestricted accounts will be unable to place new orders. Any existing store credit associated with a restricted account may be frozen. PeptideX is not obligated to provide a reason for any account restriction and all decisions are final.

08

Payment

PeptideX accepts multiple payment methods, including cryptocurrency and card payments, as presented at checkout.

Minimum order
$30.00 AUD subtotal
Card payments
Instant via processor
Crypto payments
TXID verified on-chain

8.1Cryptocurrency Payments

Payment instructions and the required cryptocurrency amount are provided at checkout. Orders are confirmed only once the submitted transaction ID (TXID) has been successfully verified on the blockchain. Orders that are not fully paid within the specified payment window may be cancelled automatically.

PeptideX does not provide custodial services, hold customer funds, or offer payment guarantees.

8.2Card Payments

Card payments are processed instantly through a third-party payment processor. PeptideX does not store or process card details directly.

8.3Minimum Order Amount

A minimum order value of $30.00 AUD applies to all orders. Orders below this threshold cannot be submitted. This minimum is calculated on the product subtotal before shipping.

8.4Chargebacks

If you believe there is a problem with an order or payment, you agree to contact us first and use the dispute-resolution process in Section 19 before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider. Raising a chargeback on an order that was delivered and supplied as described, without first raising the matter with us, is a breach of these Terms. Where a chargeback is found to be invalid, PeptideX may recover any associated fees and costs, restrict or block the account, and provide all order, delivery, and batch-verification records to the payment processor or card scheme as evidence.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

09

Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped using Australia Post Express only. Orders are fulfilled and dispatched within Australia. Delivery timeframes provided by Australia Post Express are estimates and are not guaranteed. PeptideX is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or circumstances beyond our control.

Free shipping

A flat shipping fee of $15.00 AUD applies to all orders under $220.00 AUD. Orders of $220.00 AUD or more qualify for free shipping.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order is handed to the shipping carrier.

9.1Delivery Instructions & Authority to Leave

At checkout, customers may choose between two delivery handling options:

  • Authority to Leave (default): The carrier is authorised to leave the parcel at the delivery address (e.g. front door, porch) without obtaining a signature. This is the default and applies unless Signature on Delivery is added at checkout.
  • Signature on Delivery (optional add-on): For an additional fee ($4.95; free on orders over $350), the carrier must obtain a signature from a person at the delivery address before releasing the parcel. If no one is available, the parcel is carded and held at the nearest post office for collection.

ImportantBy proceeding with Authority to Leave (the default), the customer accepts full responsibility for the parcel once it has been delivered to the nominated address. PeptideX will not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to parcels left unattended at the customer's request. This acceptance is recorded with the order as proof of consent. Customers concerned about parcel security should add Signature on Delivery at checkout.

9.2Signature on Delivery

Customers may opt to add Signature on Delivery at checkout for an additional fee. When selected, the carrier will require a signature from the recipient (or an authorised person at the delivery address) before releasing the parcel.

  • Signature on Delivery provides proof that the parcel was received by a person at the delivery address
  • PeptideX strongly recommends Signature on Delivery for customers who are concerned about parcel security or theft
  • If Signature on Delivery was not selected and the parcel is marked as delivered, PeptideX is not obligated to investigate or provide a replacement

9.3Lost or Missing Parcels

The following policy applies when a parcel is reported as lost or missing after dispatch:

aTracking shows "Delivered" — Authority to Leave (the default)

By using Authority to Leave (the default), the customer accepted full responsibility for the parcel at checkout. PeptideX is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage after delivery. No replacement or refund will be provided. The customer’s consent was recorded at the time of order.

bTracking shows "Delivered" — Signature on Delivery was added

If a valid signature was obtained, the parcel was received by a person at the delivery address. If no valid signature was obtained and the customer disputes receiving the parcel, this would be a carrier fault — the customer should lodge a formal investigation with Australia Post directly, and PeptideX will work with the customer toward a resolution if the carrier confirms a fault.

cTracking does not show "Delivered" — parcel lost in transit

If tracking does not confirm delivery and the parcel appears lost in transit, the customer must report this within 14 days of the estimated delivery date. PeptideX will lodge an investigation with Australia Post. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, store credit equal to the order value will be applied to the customer’s account.

dIncorrect shipping address — customer error

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the shipping address provided at checkout. The shipping address can be updated from Account → Orders → Edit address while an order is in Pending Payment, Awaiting Stock, or Awaiting Shipping. Once the order has been marked Shipped, the address is locked. If a parcel is dispatched to an incorrect address that was not updated before dispatch, PeptideX is not liable for the parcel. No refund or replacement will be provided. The customer may contact Australia Post directly to arrange redelivery, redirection, or pick-up at the customer’s cost.

eAddress errors caused by PeptideX

In the rare event that PeptideX makes a data-entry error when processing an order, the customer must contact support within 48 hours of dispatch. PeptideX will arrange a replacement at its own cost.

Filing false or fraudulent missing-parcel claimsPeptideX reserves the right to restrict or permanently block accounts associated with repeated or suspected fraudulent missing-parcel claims. All delivery data, carrier records, and checkout selections are retained as evidence. Fraudulent claims may be reported to relevant authorities.

10

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the nature of research materials and payment processing:

  • All sales are final
  • Returns and refunds are not offered
  • Orders cancelled due to non-payment or incomplete payment are voided without refund
  • Parcels marked as delivered are not eligible for refund, replacement, or credit (see Section 9.3 for the detailed lost parcel policy)
  • Claims for parcels lost in transit (no delivery confirmation) must be reported within 14 days of the estimated delivery date

If a product is received damaged or incorrect, customers must contact support within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Any resolution is assessed at PeptideX's discretion.

Parcels confirmed lost in transit by the carrier are an exception to "all sales are final": store credit equal to the order value is issued in the circumstances set out in Section 9.3, case (c).

This section is subject to Section 12 — nothing in it excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

11

Store Credit

Store credit may be issued as a transactional balance adjustment linked to the email address used at checkout.

  • Store credit is issued only after payment is confirmed
  • Store credit can be applied to future orders only when the customer is signed in using the same email address
  • Store credit is applied automatically at checkout (when signed in), up to the order subtotal. It cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Store credit expires 12 months after the date it is issued unless otherwise required by law
  • If an order is cancelled or refunded, we may adjust issued or applied store credit to reflect the correct balance
12

Disclaimer of Warranties

All products are provided "as is" for research purposes only. PeptideX makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding product suitability for any specific research application. Customers assume all responsibility for proper handling, storage, and use.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable consumer-protection legislation. To the extent such non-excludable rights apply, our liability is limited (where the law permits) to one or more of: re-supplying the product, refunding the purchase price, or paying the cost of having the product re-supplied.

13

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PeptideX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. In all cases, PeptideX's total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

This limitation applies subject to Section 12: nothing in these Terms purports to exclude or limit any consumer guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

14

Force Majeure

PeptideX is not liable for any delay or failure to perform under these Terms to the extent it is caused by an event beyond PeptideX's reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to: carrier disruptions, postal strikes or service suspensions, customs holds, natural disasters, fires, floods, pandemics, acts of government, civil unrest, power or telecommunications outages, and supply-chain or manufacturing interruptions.

15

Compliance with Laws

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their purchase, possession, and use of products comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

16

All content on the PeptideX website — including product descriptions, images, lab results and certificates of analysis, the PeptideX name and wordmark, design elements, and the underlying source code — is owned by PeptideX or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

19

Dispute Resolution

If a customer has a complaint or dispute relating to an order, delivery, or product, the following process applies:

1

Contact Support

Email pezie9nw4qpxp@qqq.xintaitong.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence (e.g. photos, tracking screenshots). Complaints must be raised within the timeframes set out elsewhere in these Terms — including the 48-hour window for damaged or incorrect items (Section 10) and the 14-day window for parcels lost in transit (Section 9.3).

2

Investigation Period

PeptideX will review the complaint and any relevant carrier data within 5 business days. If further information is required, the customer will be contacted.

3

Outcome

PeptideX will communicate the outcome to the customer. Any resolution (store credit, account adjustment, or other) is provided at PeptideX’s sole discretion, subject to the policies set out in these Terms.

4

Escalation

If the customer is not satisfied with the outcome, they may escalate the matter in writing. PeptideX will conduct a final review within 10 business days. All decisions made after this review are final.

ImportantAbusive, threatening, or aggressive communication toward PeptideX staff during the dispute process may result in account restrictions and termination of the review. PeptideX reserves the right to cease communication with any customer who engages in harassment or intimidation.

20

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

21

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless PeptideX, its officers, and its employees from and against any claim, loss, liability, cost, or expense arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, or your use of any product otherwise than for the laboratory research purposes for which it is supplied — including any use for or on humans or animals.

This section does not apply to any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and does not exclude, restrict, or modify any right or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

22

General

22.1Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any policy referenced within them, constitute the entire agreement between you and PeptideX regarding your use of the website and the purchase of products, and supersede any prior representation, understanding, or communication, whether written or oral.

22.2Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision is severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
