Product Information
5 questionsResearch peptides are chains of amino acids supplied exclusively for laboratory research and analytical purposes. They are not medicines, supplements, or therapeutic products and are not intended for human or animal consumption.
Our products are supplied as research-grade materials and are supported by third-party analytical testing such as HPLC / HPLC, where applicable. Certificates of Analysis (CoA) are available to verify purity, identity, and quality.
Storage requirements depend on the specific compound and its form. Generally, lyophilized (dry) peptides should be stored refrigerated at 2-8°C, protected from light and moisture. For long-term storage, some compounds may be stored at -20°C. Once prepared, storage conditions vary by compound and research procedure. Specific handling and storage guidance is provided with each product.
Yes. Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and supporting laboratory documentation are available and can be accessed via the Lab Results page.
Client and manufacturer identifiers, along with internal reference and submission numbers, are redacted from each Certificate of Analysis to prevent our reports being copied, reused, or misattributed by third parties. Where the testing laboratory supports it, the verification key and task number are provided with the batch so you can confirm the result directly with the lab.
This is standard practice in research material distribution. Redaction does not affect the analysis: every batch is independently tested by HPLC and internally verified before release, and the purity, identity and batch number shown are accurate and unaltered.
Each Certificate of Analysis confirms:
- Compound identity
- Purity and analytical consistency
- Batch-specific verification prior to release
The testing laboratory itself is publicly named on each report; only the client-linked submission identifiers are withheld, to preserve commercial integrity and prevent unauthorised tracing or replication.
If you have general questions regarding our testing standards or documentation practices, our team is happy to assist.
Ordering & Compliance
9 questionsOur products are supplied for legitimate laboratory and research purposes only. By placing an order, customers acknowledge that all products are intended strictly for research use and not for human or animal consumption.
No. All products are strictly intended for laboratory research and analytical use only. They are not for personal, medical, veterinary, or consumer use.
No. PeptideX supplies research materials for laboratory use only and does not provide dosing, administration, protocol, or any human- or animal-use guidance. Messages requesting this information will not be answered. For analytical or product-information questions, our support team is happy to help.
Formal institutional verification is not required at checkout. However, we reserve the right to request additional information where necessary to ensure products are supplied for legitimate research purposes.
We accept both cryptocurrency and card payments. Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Cryptocurrency payments require submission of a transaction ID (TXID) for blockchain verification. Card payments are processed instantly via our secure third-party payment provider.
If a payment does not meet the required amount, the order may remain pending or partially paid until the balance is received. Orders must be fully paid within the specified payment window to proceed. Orders that are not completed within this window are automatically cancelled.
Yes. Store credit may be issued after payment is confirmed and is linked to the email used at checkout. To apply available store credit to a new order, sign in using the same email address.
Yes. The minimum order amount is $30.00 AUD. Orders below this threshold cannot be submitted. The minimum is calculated on your product subtotal before shipping.
A flat shipping fee of $15.00 AUD applies to all orders under $220.00 AUD. Orders of $220.00 AUD or more qualify for free shipping via Australia Post Express.
Shipping & Delivery
16 questionsAll orders are shipped using Australia Post Express. No other shipping methods are offered.
Orders are fulfilled and dispatched within Australia via Australia Post Express.
Orders placed Monday–Friday before 12pm AEST are dispatched the same day; orders after 12pm ship the next business day, and weekend orders ship Monday morning. Australia Post Express then typically delivers within 1–3 business days from dispatch, depending on location (WA, SA, TAS, NT and regional areas can take longer). Timeframes are estimates and may vary.
Products are packaged in professional, laboratory-appropriate packaging to maintain integrity during transit and ensure reliable delivery.
Yes. Tracking information is provided for all Australia Post Express shipments once your order has been dispatched.
If an order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order will be shipped together once the pre-order item is ready (typically 1-2 weeks). If you require in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.
Yes. By default, orders ship with Authority to Leave: the carrier is authorised to leave the parcel at your delivery address (e.g. front door or porch) without a signature. If you would rather it not be left unattended, add Signature on Delivery at checkout (a small fee — $4.95, free on orders over $350). With Signature on Delivery, the carrier must obtain a signature before releasing the parcel; if no one is available, the parcel is carded and held at the nearest post office for collection.
By using Authority to Leave (the default), you accept responsibility for the parcel once it has been delivered to your address. PeptideX is not liable for parcels that go missing, are stolen, or are damaged after being left unattended, and your acceptance of this is recorded with your order. If you are concerned about parcel security, we recommend adding Signature on Delivery at checkout, which requires a signature before the parcel is released.
First, check around your property, with neighbours, and in any safe spots the carrier may have left it. If your order used Authority to Leave (the default), you accepted responsibility for the parcel once it was delivered. If you selected Signature on Delivery and no valid signature was obtained, that would be a carrier fault — lodge a formal investigation with Australia Post at auspost.com.au/receiving/delayed-lost-damaged-items and contact our support team, and we will work with you toward a resolution if the carrier confirms a fault.
If tracking has not shown any updates for an extended period and the parcel does not show as delivered, contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date. We will lodge an investigation with Australia Post on your behalf. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, store credit equal to the order value will be applied to your account.
You can update your shipping address from Account → Orders → Edit address while your order is in Pending Payment, Awaiting Stock, or Awaiting Shipping. Once the order is marked Shipped, the address is locked. If a parcel is dispatched to an incorrect address that was not updated before dispatch, PeptideX is not liable. No refund or replacement will be provided. You can contact Australia Post directly to arrange redelivery, redirection, or pick-up at your own cost. This does not limit any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
In the rare event that PeptideX makes a data-entry error when processing your order, contact us within 48 hours of dispatch and we will arrange a replacement at our cost.
Signature on Delivery is an optional add-on available at checkout for a small fee. It requires the carrier to obtain a signature from a person at the delivery address before releasing the parcel. We strongly recommend it if you are concerned about parcel security or theft. Without Signature on Delivery, PeptideX is not obligated to investigate or resolve claims for parcels that tracking shows as delivered.
You can lodge a formal investigation directly with Australia Post at auspost.com.au/receiving/delayed-lost-damaged-items. You will need your tracking number and order details. This is recommended when the carrier has left a parcel without authorisation or when tracking shows the parcel is lost in transit.
All sales are final and refunds are generally not offered. If tracking confirms delivery and your order used Authority to Leave (the default), no replacement or refund will be provided. For parcels genuinely lost in transit (no delivery confirmation), contact us within 14 days and we will investigate. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, store credit equal to the order value will be applied to your account. Please see our Terms & Conditions Section 9.3 for full details. This does not limit any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Contact our support team with your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence within 14 days of the delivery date. We will investigate within 5 business days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may request a written escalation which will be reviewed within 10 business days. All decisions after this review are final. See our Terms & Conditions Section 15 for full dispute resolution details.
Product Handling
3 questionsPreparation methods vary depending on the compound and research application. Researchers should follow procedures appropriate to their specific experimental requirements using laboratory-grade materials.
When stored correctly in sealed containers under recommended conditions, lyophilized peptides typically remain stable for extended periods. Stability after preparation varies by compound and storage procedure.
Repeated freeze-thaw cycles can affect peptide stability. For research accuracy, aliquoting prepared solutions for single-use applications is recommended.
Account & Support
2 questionsPeptideX reserves the right to restrict accounts at its sole discretion. This may occur due to suspected fraud, chargebacks, repeated non-payment, abusive behaviour, or misuse of products. Restricted accounts cannot place new orders and any associated store credit may be frozen. For further details, please refer to Section 5 (Account Restrictions) of our Terms & Conditions.
You may contact our support team to enquire about your account status. However, all restriction decisions are made at PeptideX’s discretion and are final.
